Position: Data Scientist, Manager

Location: Makati City, Philippines

Work Setup: Hybrid (50% onsite)

Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (PH Time)

Salary Range: PHP 125,000 – 280,000 per month

(Equivalent to PHP 1.5M – 3.4M annually; no 13th month pay)

Overview:

A leadership-level Data Scientist role responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced analytics solutions. This role requires expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, data engineering, visualization, and cross-functional collaboration to drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of advanced analytics and data science solutions

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements

• Work with large datasets using tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Python, SAS, and SQL

• Clean, analyze, and visualize data; build predictive and machine learning models

• Develop dashboards using Tableau or Power BI

• Enhance, optimize, and document codes for critical business processes

• Present insights through effective storytelling and visualizations

• Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvement

• Provide mentorship and support technical knowledge transfer

• Ensure alignment with Agile methodology and project timelines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science or analytics

• Graduate of a quantitative program (Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, IT, etc.)

• Strong skills in analytics and statistical modeling (Regression, Classification, Clustering)

• Experience building machine learning models (Random Forest, SVM, etc.) using Python or R

• Proficient with Tableau or Power BI

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills

• Knowledge of Agile methodology and scrum practices

• Strong teamwork and ability to deliver high-quality output on schedule
