Reporting to the Senior Director of Cyber Risk and Technology Advisory Services at vCyberiz, the Solution Specialist – MS Security is responsible for designing and securing

Microsoft 365 messaging environments, executing end-to-end migration projects, configuring hybrid Exchange setups, and implementing Purview-based compliance controls. The specialist collaborates with identity and security teams, resolves complex technical issues, automates operations using PowerShell, and ensures stability, performance, and compliance across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrations & Architecture: Lead end-to-end migrations (Exchange/Google Workspace to Exchange Online), design Hybrid Exchange architectures, and manage secure mail flow.
• Security & Compliance: Implement Microsoft Purview (DLP, eDiscovery, Retention), Defender for O365, and EOP.
• Identity & Automation: Collaborate on Azure AD (Entra ID), AAD Connect, MFA, and ADFS. Use PowerShell to automate bulk operations and reporting.
• Operations: Perform advanced troubleshooting, monitor environment health, and maintain technical documentation (SOPs/runbooks).

Experience & Qualifications

Experience: 3–5 years in Exchange (Server & Online) administration; proven success in 1,000+ user migrations. Experience with Hybrid Exchange deployments, coexistence environments, and identity synchronization. Strong background working with Microsoft 365

security and compliance features.

• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in DNS, SMTP, TLS, and Load Balancing. Proficiency in Exchange 2013/2016/2019 and PowerShell scripting is mandatory.
• Education/Certifications: Preferred certifications include M365 Messaging Administrator Associate or Enterprise Administrator Expert.
