Tasks & responsibilities

• Representing the Company for all Customs transactions including Import and Export.
• Appraising shipments in accordance with requirements.
• Liaising with government bodies to obtain requirements for shipments.
• Handle inquiries regarding customs regulatory and tariffs
• Handle import and export regulatories
• Compute duties and taxes
• Ensure accuracy of vessel departure report
• Reparing and processing documents necessary for clearing shipments.
• Keeping records of company documents, transactions and shipments
• Coordination of Shipment from China to Warehouse
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication Arts, Custom Administration, or any related course, 
• With 2- 4 years of experience in Export and Import Processing, air and sea cargo processing.
• Licensed Customs Broker
• With experience in brokerage and freight forwarding
• Work experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage
• Well-experienced in negotiation with BOC personnel on valuation
• Experienced in negotiating and handling trucking companies
• Knowledgeable about the tariff book
• Well-versed in customs rules and regulations
• With oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Attentive to details
• Can work under pressure and minimal supervision
• Applicants must be willing to report to BGC Office from Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:30PM)
