6 MONTHS CONTRACT ONLY

The Cost Monitoring Engineer prepares and updates Budget Report, reallocation of budget, and resolution of budget issues. Ensures that all project construction costs are within the approved budget. Coordinates with various concerned departments in the immediate resolution of budget issues. Coordinates and participates in the company’s process flow upgrade.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

BUDGET REPORT

• Preparation of monthly budget report / New Budget Report Template.
• Update budget report for every awarded contract packages, Change Orders, Purchase Order;
• Update budget report for every Contract Listing, Variation Order Listing;
• Re-allocate budget for OSM as basis of reference by E-procurement/External CM;

BUDGET REALLOCATION AND RECONCILLATION

• Coordinate with other departments (Business Development, Accounting, Planning, Construction Management, Contract Admin) regarding re-allocation of budget as necessary;
• Reconciliation of Budget Report Monitoring with Accounting/Contract Admin/Planning records.

BUDGET ISSUES

• Coordination with other departments (Business Development, Accounting, Planning, Construction Management, Contract Admin) regarding budget issues and concerns

UNIT COST AND PR MONITORING AND APPROVAL

• Providing estimated unit cost for the OSM, and coordination with respective departments for the
• possible re-allocation of budget for the OSM.
• Monitoring, checking, and approval of PR in E-proc.

OTHERS

• Providing detailed budget data (cost per sqm, unit cost data) that can be easily extracted and identify that will serve as a basis and guide for awarding new contract/assessment of possible
• change order/extra work, etc
• Come up with ideas and work together with the PMO to help digitize the budget report template and other management-required reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Civil Engineer
• With at least 2-years work related experience
• Willing to be assigned in Alabang
