Collecting and analyzing data about a company's operational costs
Developing and analyzing cost standards
Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) ANALYSIS
Performing account reconciliations
Prepared audit reports and presenting their findings to management
Recommended changes to the company's processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data
Managing the company's balance sheet and accounting books
Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure
Review standard actual costs for inaccuries
Prepare Budgeting reports (for the company and each department)
Analyze and report profit margins
Prepare (monthly , quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
Performs other duties as may be assigned

Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any related field
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Proven work experience as cost accountant, cost analyst, accountant, or similar role
Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
In depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with pivot tables)
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Strong time management skills
With an ability to handle confidential information
