The HackQuest core team is made up of ex-Meta engineers, CMU Ph.D. researchers, and builders who have worked together for over five years across multiple education technology startups and successful exits. Position Summary:

As a Web3 Developer Community Manager at HackQuest, you will play a crucial role in building and fostering a vibrant community centered around our educational products and services. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage, nurture, and grow a dedicated community of developers passionate about Web3 in the local regional market.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Building: Establish and manage a thriving online community from scratch, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration among our users and advocates.
  • Event Planning: Organize and execute successful online and offline developer events, such as meetups, colearning camps, unitours, ideathons, hackathons, and hacker houses.
  • Activity Recruitment & Hosting: Recruit participants and host online and offline activities, including but not limited to meetups, colearning camps, unitours, ideathons, hackathons, and hacker houses.
  • Growth Strategies: As a member of the marketing / community team, work closely with product, development, and design teams to formulate growth strategies tailored to the local community.
  • Competitive Analysis: Research and analyze competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in our community engagement strategies.
  • KPI Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of community initiatives and identify areas for optimization.
  • Partner Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with regional developer communities, universities, blockchain associations, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Account Management: Serve as the primary POC for our large business accounts and handle communications and deal execution.
  • Timely Communication: Respond to user messages in the community within 24 hours and monitor group chats continuously to ensure prompt support.
  • Project Sourcing: Identify and source potential hackathon projects to enrich the content and engagement of our community activities.
  • Additional Support: Collaborate with community managers around the globe to support co-learning camp, advocate program, and developer state initiatives.

Requisito

  • Base in Vietnam / Argentina / Indonesia / Nigeria.
  • Fluency in English and local language;
  • Deep understanding of the Web3 ecosystem, including blockchain technology, developer tooling, and DeFi.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in community management within the Web3 space. Prior experience as founders / managing communities for educational technology products preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and engage with diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A passion for fostering community growth and development.
  • Proficiency in at least 1-2 Web3 development technologies, such as Solidity, Rust, or Move.
  • Experience in Web3 project development and the ability to provide basic support to community members.
