Descripción

The Housekeeper/Utility Worker (Kasambahay) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of the Health Care Services Unit. The position also involves doing laundry, assisting in the proper upkeep of patients’ and residents’ living spaces, and supporting the Health Care Services staff in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.

 

Ang Housekeeper/Utility Worker (Kasambahay) ay may pananagutan sa pagpapanatili ng kalinisan, kaayusan, at kaligtasan ng kapaligiran sa Health Care Services Unit. Kabilang din dito ang paglalaba, pagtulong sa wastong pag-aayos ng mga silid ng mga pasyente at residente, at pagsuporta sa mga kawani ng Health Care Services upang matiyak ang ligtas at malusog na kapaligiran para sa lahat.


Duties and Responsibilities:

 1. Clean and disinfect Sister's rooms, common areas, comfort rooms, and hallways.

Linisin at i-disinfect ang mga silid ng mga Madre, mga common area, comfort room, at pasilyo.


2. Collect, wash, dry, fold, and store linens, uniforms, and clothing of Sisters.

Kolektahin, labhan, patuyuin, tiklupin, at ayusin ang mga linen, uniporme, at damit ng Madre.


3. Dispose of garbage properly and ensure waste segregation following health and safety standards.

Itapon nang wasto ang basura at tiyakin ang tamang segregation ayon sa health at safety standards.


4. Replenish supplies (soap, tissue, cleaning materials) as needed.

Maglagay o magdagdag ng mga gamit (sabong panlaba, tissue, panlinis) kapag kinakailangan.


5. Ensure that laundry and housekeeping equipment are properly maintained and reported if defective.

Siguruhing nasa maayos na kondisyon ang mga gamit sa paglalaba at paglilinis at i-report kung may sira.


6. Assist in preparing and maintaining cleanliness in the dining and kitchen areas of the unit.

Tumulong sa paghahanda at pagpapanatili ng kalinisan sa kainan at kusina ng unit.


7. Observe infection control procedures and follow Health Care Services protocols at all times.

Sundin ang mga pamamaraan sa infection control at palaging sumunod sa Health Care Services protocols.


8. Coordinate with Health Care Services staff regarding special housekeeping needs of patients/residents.

Makipag-ugnayan sa Health Services staff tungkol sa espesyal na pangangailangan ng mga pasyente/residente sa kalinisan.


9. Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the Health Care Services Coordinator.

Requisito

At least high school level; senior high school education is an advantage but not required.

  • Hindi bababa sa high school; ang senior high ay isang kalamangan ngunit hindi kinakailangan.

Prior experience as a housekeeper/utility worker or kasambahay is preferred; experience in a convent or similar setting is a plus.

  • Mas gusto ang may karanasan bilang housekeeper/utility worker o kasambahay; karanasan sa kumbento o katulad na lugar ay dagdag na puntos.

Basic cleaning and housekeeping techniques.

  • Pangunahing kasanayan sa paglilinis at gawaing bahay.

Ability to follow instructions and routines.

  • Kakayahang sumunod sa tagubilin at takdang gawain.

Organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Kakayahan sa pag-oorganisa at pamamahala ng oras.

Honest, respectful, discreet, and reliable.

  • Tapat, magalang, maingat, at maaasahan.

Physically fit and capable of handling household tasks.

  • Malusog at kayang gampanan ang mga gawaing bahay.

Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the religious community.

  • Handang matuto at umangkop sa pangangailangan ng relihiyosong komunidad.

Has a sense of mission and commitment to service.

  • May malasakit sa misyon at dedikasyon sa paglilingkod.

Must have genuine respect, compassion, and care for the elderly.

  • Dapat may tunay na paggalang, malasakit, at pag-aalaga para sa mga nakatatanda.


Working Conditions / Mga Kondisyon sa Trabaho

Employment Type / Uri ng Trabaho:

  1. Live-in (with accommodations and meals provided) or live-out arrangement, depending on the convent’s needs.
  2. Live-in (na may libreng tulugan at pagkain) o live-out, depende sa pangangailangan ng kumbento.

Schedule / Iskedyul:

  1. Six (6) days a week with one (1) day off, subject to adjustment based on the needs of the community.
  2. Anim (6) na araw ng trabaho kada linggo at isang (1) araw ng pahinga, maaaring magbago ayon sa pangangailangan ng komunidad.

Compensation and Benefits / Sweldo at Benepisyo:

  1. In accordance with the Batas Kasambahay (Republic Act No. 10361) and the SFIC Congregation’s policies.
  2. Ayon sa Batas Kasambahay (RA 10361) at mga patakaran ng SFIC Congregation.
