Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Finance Director to manage and elevate the financial operations of a fast-scaling EdTech company with multiple global legal entities. This role requires strong financial planning and analysis (FP&A) skills, expertise in multi-entity consolidation, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team.

As the Finance Director, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead financial planning and reporting, and contribute to strategic financial decisions that drive growth and scalability. You will collaborate directly with the client’s CFO while being supported by Pivotl Solutions’ infrastructure and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning & analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee consolidation of financials across several international legal entities.
• Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and executive reports.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP) and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Support annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions in partnership with external partners and internal staff.
• Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and procedures.
• Mentor and develop finance team members to foster a high-performance culture.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial alignment on company initiatives and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance leadership.
• Strong FP&A background, including forecasting and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated experience in managing consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across remote and global teams.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.

• This is a night-shift position to align with U.S. Eastern Time working hours.
• Hybrid role: mix of remote work and onsite collaboration at Pivotl’s office.

Salary

• 100,000 - 110,000 PHP depending on experience and qualifications
