• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure workstations are clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety practices at all times.
• Support senior chefs with daily kitchen operations and tasks.
• Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
• Properly label, store, and rotate food items to maintain quality and minimize waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions immediately.
• Assist in receiving and checking deliveries of supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Follow instructions from Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef.
• Participate in training to improve cooking skills and knowledge.
• Perform other related duties as required by the kitchen

Job Requirements

• Culinary Arts graduate or vocational course is an advantage.
• With experience in kitchen operations (preferred but not required).
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment.
• Willing to learn and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
