The Channel Sales Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners to drive sales growth. This role focuses on managing distributor, dealer, and retail accounts, ensuring targets are met through effective planning, support, and execution of sales strategies within assigned territories or markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Partner Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributors, dealers, and resellers.
  • Ensure channel partners are properly onboarded and trained.
  • Monitor channel partner performance and ensure adherence to sales targets and company standards.

Sales Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective channel management.
  • Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.

Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new channel partners to increase market reach.
  • Analyze potential areas for growth and propose expansion strategies.

Promotional Activities

  • Implement marketing and promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Ensure visibility of products at the point of sale and manage point-of-sale materials.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner contacts, sales, and payment follow-ups.

Inventory and Order Management

  • Monitor stock levels at the distributor and retailer level.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Customer Service

  • Assist channel partners in resolving issues related to products, pricing, and promotions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction within the channel network.

Compliance

  • Ensure all channel sales operations comply with company policies and local regulations.
  • Monitor partners for adherence to pricing, branding, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in channel or field sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
