We are looking for a CAD Designer / Industrial Designer with hands-on experience in SketchUp and a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and efficient designs, technical drawings, and 3D models that support the production of metal structures, components, and assemblies.

CAD Designer / Industrial Designer (Metal Fabrication)

• Assist in creating and modifying CAD designs for metal fabrication projects
• Develop technical drawings and 3D models based on project specs
• Support engineers and designers in reviewing, refining, and finalizing designs
• Ensure accuracy in measurements, tolerances, and material specifications
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are fabrication-ready
• Conduct basic design checks to confirm feasibility and manufacturability
• Maintain organized project files and drawing documentation
• Perform other design-related tasks as assigned

• Vocational Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, CAD, Industrial Design, or a related course
• Proficient in SketchUp; experience with other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus
• Prior experience in metal fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industries is an advantage
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, measurements, and tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and project specifications
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines
