- Arrange cuts of meat and display them in a presentable manner.
- Weigh, label, and price a variety of meat cuts based on customer or production needs.
- Receive and inspect deliveries of meat to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Prepare meat into various cuts — deboning, tying, and trimming as required.
- Use tools and equipment such as skewers, bone knives, twine, and other machines.
- Educate and suggest to customers different selections of poultry, pork, beef, and fish.
- Maintain product quality while minimizing waste and losses.
- Observe cleanliness and comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
