Job Title: Business Development Officer

Our AICX platform is trusted by government regulators and private enterprises across various industries to enhance consumer engagement and protection. As we expand in the Southeast Asian market, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team.


Job Summary

The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and driving sales of Proto’s AI Customer Experience (AICX) solutions. This role involves market research, lead generation and development, to accelerate Proto’s expansion in the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and identify potential clients in target industries
  • Cold call and email potential clients to introduce our services and schedule meetings
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for increasing sales and brand awareness
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our services and industry trends
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress towards targets


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the SaaS or AI technology sector.
  • RevOps experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B sales process, particularly in enterprise and government sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales automation software is a plus.
