A Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying highly profitable business opportunities and securing strategic business deals, contributing to the company's financial growth. His/her job involves understanding customers’ needs and pain points and implementing sales strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manages the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, pitch, negotiation, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain a robust network of contacts to attract new clients and business opportunities.
  • Present and promote company products and services to prospective customers to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Ensure that a high level of service is provided and client inquiries are handled attentively.
  • Create proposals based on the client's requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare reports on sales activities, progress toward goals, and market conditions.
  • Perform other functions that may be assigned to him/her.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
  • With at least 2 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management
  • Excellent interpersonal, personal, and communication skills
  • Preferably with a background in selling B2B SaaS software products
