Be a Vendor Business Development Representative for our Awesome CX by Transcom Davao site. This role creates and fosters close relationships with our vendors to provide the best food in the business to our clients and leading training and providing mentorship to our vendors will help to build the foundation of our future while supporting growing markets remotely.

  • Manage the full onboarding cycle from prospecting to discovery calling
  • Research and engage vendors daily using cold call and email techniques
  • Scour your respective markets for high-quality vendors that add value to our vendor base
  • Schedule vendor meetings with the Vendor Onboarding Specialist Team
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships based on trust and accountability
  • Collaborate on quarterly project initiatives as assigned by management and stakeholders

Requisito

This role will allow you in scouring the culinary landscape to find the best local chefs, caterers, food trucks, and restaurants to join the program and will then lead them through the onboarding process from start to finish.


What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role you must…

  • 5 years of Business Development experience, preferably B2B within the hospitality industry
  • Understand the food industry and how to position offerings
  • Exhibit leadership skills, collaborating effectively to generate measurable results
  • Persuasive & savvy enough to know how to turn a “No” into a “Yes”
  • Strong technological skills using Google Drive, Excel & Helpscout along with other CRMs
  • Strong communication and mediation/conflict management skills
  • Knowledge of the national and local food & culinary scene
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and as a team
  • A sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze large datasets against performance metrics
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with all types of contact points, from executive chefs to catering managers
