Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our growing accounting firm by managing transaction classification and bank reconciliation for multiple client accounts using QuickBooks Online.

Key Responsibilities

• Classify financial transactions for multiple client accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts with high accuracy
• Process transactions from various bank accounts (ranging from 1-10 accounts per client)
• Maintain consistent transaction categorization across recurring supplier transactions
• Prepare preliminary financial documentation for review
• Collaborate with lead accountant on monthly financial processes
• Communicate effectively via email for task updates and clarifications
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in bookkeeping
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with US accounting and bookkeeping practices preferred
• Excellent written communication skills
• Basic understanding of financial transaction classification
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Reliable internet connection
• Computer with necessary accounting software access
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  
  

Work Location

• Home-based
• Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
• Should have own Laptop/PC (minimum of i5 8GB RAM)
