Responsibilities

• Review financial records: Examine a company's financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, tax returns, and more 
• Identify errors and fraud: Look for discrepancies in the company's financial records 
• Ensure compliance: Make sure the company is following all relevant regulations 
• Evaluate internal controls: Assess the company's internal control systems to reduce the risk of errors and fraud 
• Report to stakeholders: Provide shareholders and other stakeholders with an opinion on the accuracy of the company's financial statements 
• Help improve operations: Work with the company to identify areas for improvement in their financial reporting systems 

Education 

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Practical experience in accounting or finance
• At least1 year and 6 months of auditing experience for large organizations
