Assist in implementing and monitoring accounting strategies in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
Take the lead role in tax planning and compliance activities throughout the fiscal year in coordination with the Accounting Manager.
Review and improve current accounting practices and procedures in month-end closing activities, AP processing, physical inventory count, EWT reconciliation versus quarterly and annual alphalist of suppliers vs. AFS, CWT reconciliation vs. SAWT vs. Sales Revenue vs. AFS, WTW reconciliation per employee versus 1604C, annual alphalist and AFS and others in close coordination with Accounting Manager.
Prepare and verify accounting records to ensure accuracy and timeliness during month-end and year-end closings.
Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis to support management in making financial decisions.
Support the review and preparation of monthly financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors during audits to ensure timely completion and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and proper implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Coordinate with outsourced service providers for assigned projects as needed.
Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Accounting Manager or senior management.
Requisito
A graduate of BS Accountancy
Must be Certified Public Accountant
Minimum of 2 years solid experience in end-to-end accounting to include AP, AR, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Cost Management, Financial Reporting and Tax Compliances (i.e. BIR, LGU, SEC, etc.)
Highly flexible, organized and can withstand pressure
Ability to quickly adjust to new work environments
Able to understand and effectively communicate with different levels in the organization.
Actual experience in handling BIR Letter of Authority (LOA) and BIR examiners is an advantage.
