About the Client

  • An Australian in-home care provider delivering government-funded services. Supportive founders, stable operations, and a long-term offshore team.


The Role

  • You'll handle invoicing, payroll checks, reconciliations, scheduling, and admin to keep care services running smoothly. Within 90 days you'll own weekly invoicing and AR, support payroll, and manage shift updates confidently.


Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping

  • Send weekly invoices from ShiftCare
  • Support payroll: check and approve timesheets, sync to Xero
  • Reconcile payments and match remittances
  • Code weekly expenses and maintain organised records


Admin & Scheduling

  • Monitor shared inbox and handle support requests
  • Coordinate carers for available shifts
  • Update schedules in ShiftCare
  • Make and receive basic admin calls
  • General admin and reporting in Google Drive
  • Act as backup to the existing VA


Must-Haves

  • 2+ years admin, bookkeeping support, or AR experience
  • Comfortable with cloud tools and quick to learn systems
  • Basic Xero experience or fast learner
  • Strong English communication
  • Able to work 20 hrs/week during Adelaide hours
  • Reliable home office and internet

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare, disability, or in-home care
  • Familiar with ShiftCare or rostering tools
  • Experience supporting accountants
  • Comfortable on calls
