1. Oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, budgets, cost accounting and forecasts to support business planning and performance management

2. Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

3. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide meaningful recommendations and solutions to the management team

4. Oversees inventory accounting and reconciles physical inventory with accounting records ensuring proper valuation of inventory.

5. Lead the implementation of robust financial controls and systems to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information

6. Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

7. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2. 7+ years of experience in management accounting or a similar role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry

3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data to drive strategic decision-making

4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

5. Proficient in the use of financial reporting and budgeting software, such as Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools

6. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams

7. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred
