Vida Nutriscience Inc. (VNI) is one of the leaders in the health and wellness products category in the country today. Established in 2004 by two young entrepreneurs, the company was initially named Vida Herbs Marketing and functioned as a supplier and manufacturer of raw food materials and dietary supplements. Some early stars of this period in the company’s history include Alivio (for hypertension), Speciosa (for diabetes), and Osteoflex (for osteoarthritis). As the company grew and evolved, Vida Herbs Marketing eventually transformed into Vida Nutriscience Inc. in 2006. Over the years, the company’s drive for constant product innovation never wavered. VNI pioneered research and development efforts for glutathione capsules in the country, directly leading to its introduction of SnowCaps in the Philippine market. Following this breakthrough, the company continued its tradition of excellence with the development of AcneCare, the Philippines’ first acne oral pill. MySlim, the first slimming and detox drink clinically proven to promote safe weight loss, is another feather in the company’s hat. Other brands the company has developed and pushed to the forefront include Snow Skin Whitening, Crystal White, Goju, and Spike.
