We are looking for a VIDEO EDITOR for video & mobile games! ????

The Video Editor will assemble recorded footage into a finished project that will bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format
• Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with team members and director from production to post-production process
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere, etc.
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A strong passion for playing and making video games.
• Should be knowledgeable about high quality screen recording on games and application to videos.

Advantages:

• Previous experience in the game industry.
• Capturing and editing video games trailers.
• Knowledgeable in animation.
• At least 1-year proven work experience as a Video Editor.
• Has experience in script writing.
