Description
The Assistant Branch Supervisor is responsible in supervising branch operations in the absence of Branch Supervisor. He/She is responsible in the store’s Inventory Control Management and Visual Merchandising.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the overall branch operations & coordinates concerns in the absence of the Branch Supervisor.
- Monitors staff attendance and reports extreme attendance deviations.
- Ensures the timely submission of all documents required by the office.
- Conducts daily cash audit of the store’s total cash funds and records the same in the Daily Cash count logbook in the absence of Branch Supervisors
- Ensures cash sales are deposited as scheduled.
- Secures the store’s cash funds and gift certificates in the vault.
- Handles store’s petty cash funds & prepares the store’s petty cash replenishment reports.
- Ensures that all billing statements of the store are paid on time.
- Submits required sales reports to the Accounting Department of the mall.
- Ensures that the new store employees have employee code
- Ensures that security guidelines, procedures and policies are complied with.
- Conducts the regular inspection of fire extinguishers to ensure that they are functional, unexpired and ready for use when necessary.
- Ensures that all store staff comply with the uniform and grooming standards prior to reporting for duty.
- Ensures that customer service standards are implemented
- Ensures daily adherence to visual merchandising guidelines and standards.
- Implements window display changes in coordination with the Visual Merchandising Department and ensure maintenance thereof.
- Manages cleanliness and maintain store upkeep including stockroom.
- Checks & monitors stock requisition of Inventory Assistant
- Checks & Monitors outright product vouchering & documentation processes.
- Assigns and monitors store personnel in terms of stock’s inventory
- Ensures that all products are adequately stored.
- Records, files and maintains documents related to stock’s inventory.
- Monitors availability of office supplies, store cleaning materials and prepares requisition of all suppliers needed in the store.
- Acts as a regular cashier reliever
- Prepares the logistical requirements for sale events.
- Attends to employee injury or illness.
- Ensures that Adidas and Nike promo is consistently updating WMI reports on a weekly basis
- Ensures proper accomplishment of remittance form and other documents (e.g: feedback form, TPS)
INTER RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports directly to the Branch Supervisor
- Coordinates with Inventory Assistant regarding stocks inventory
- Coordinates with the SD and VM on matters related to store maintenance
- Coordinates with Merchandising/BM Department
- Coordinates with all departments and employees in all related functions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/Degree of Sports Science and Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management/Marketing or any related courses.
- At least 6 mos. working related experience
- With good communication and supervisory skills
- With pleasing personality and excellent customer relation skill
