Job description
The HR Supervisor is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Full Employee Lifecycle Management
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the processes of attracting, hiring, and successfully integrating new employees into the organization.
- Performance Management: Develop frameworks for setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and managing underperformance.
- Learning and Development: Create opportunities for employee growth through training, mentorship, and career development initiatives.
2. HR Policies, Procedures, and Programs
- Policy Development: Craft and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's values and objectives.
- Culture Building: Establish programs that promote a positive and inclusive work environment that drives employee engagement and retention.
3. Strategic HR Partnership
- Collaboration with Business Leaders: Work closely with department heads and other leaders to understand their workforce needs and offer tailored HR solutions that contribute to the organization's success.
4. Timekeeping & Payroll Support
- Payroll Processing Support: Assist with the payroll process by ensuring that employee timekeeping data (e.g., hours worked, overtime, leave) is accurately recorded and collaborate with payroll administrators to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.
5. Health & Safety Compliance
- Collaborate with the Health and Safety team to implement workplace safety programs and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with construction industry regulations.
6. Employee Benefits Administration
- Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and any other benefits offered by the company.
- Ensure employees are enrolled in the correct benefits plans and provide guidance on benefits eligibility, options, and enrollment periods.
- Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist with resolving any issues related to claims or coverage.
7. Incentive Program Management
- Support the administration of employee incentive and bonus programs, ensuring that these programs align with the company objectives and are administered fairly and accurately.
- Track performance metrics for employees eligible for incentive payouts and ensure timely and accurate disbursement.
8. Billing Validation
- Collaborate with the Billing Officer to validate the hours worked by employees that will be billed to clients.
- Cross-check timesheets, attendance records, and project logs to ensure that all billed hours are accurate and comply with contractual agreements.
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place for any overtime or special billing adjustments before submitting to the client.
