Your Role as Data Analyst

Data doesn't wait. Neither do you. At Smartsourcing, we need someone who doesn't just run reports—owns them. You'll be the backbone of the analytics, the enforcer of accuracy, and the reason the teams move faster and smarter.

Key Responsibilities

• Dominate reporting: Track what we sell, where we sell it, and how much through sales reports (Invoice & Nexvia), product margins, exceptions, board decks, and monthly meetings.
• Manipulate data like a boss: Cleanse, process, load, extract, and validate until it's flawless.
• Be the insight machine: Analyze raw data, spot patterns, and serve up recommendations that move needles.
• Build data fortresses: Create analytical databases from financial sources and audit everything for perfect accuracy.
• Level up Looker Studio: Find weak spots, implement upgrades, and design new features that make everyone say "Wow."
• Talk data to humans: Translate stakeholder needs into killer reports and explain complex findings like it's small talk.
• Play team MVP: Partner with finance and other squads to integrate data solutions that just work.
• Innovate or die: Stay on top of BI trends and tools, then bring the best ones home to roost.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, CS, Stats, Math or related
• 2-3+ years in the reports trenches
• SQL skills sharp enough to cut through messy data
• Automation game so strong it makes manual work obsolete
• Problem-solving reflexes faster than a Looker Studio load time
• Stakeholder EQ to bridge tech and business worlds
• Communication game strong enough to explain joins to a 5-year-old
