About the Role:

As a Credit Administrator at Robert Walters Group, your primary responsibility will be to manage the credit administration process efficiently. You will set up new credit accounts, maintain existing ones, and assist with any queries that arise. Your role will also involve validating and processing credit applications, setting up credit limits in the system, and preparing credit reports for further approvals. Your attention to detail and accuracy will ensure smooth operations and accurate financial records

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with queries from various stakeholders
  • Validating and processing credit applications
  • Setting up credit limits in the system
  • Preparing credit reports for further approvals
  • Reporting to the Credit Control Services Manager, this position will be an accounting and finance all-rounder that will focus on the administrative support of the Accounts Receivable function in Singapore. The role will extend to supporting the Credit Controllers in handling RW & RPO business units.
  • Assisting the Credit Controllers with 7-day follow-ups to clients and any other debt collection tasks as assigned
  • Ensuring payment allocations are posted accurately and completed on a daily basis
  • Performing account reconciliation on temporary billings
  • Performing vendor registration process and being the point of contact for bank account confirmation
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly reports such as cash flow forecasts, aging reports, and bank reconciliation
  • Supporting the Credit Controllers with late payment interest computation
  • Assisting with the drafting of letters of demand for the Legal team's review
  • Updating client's database such as address, email contacts, PO requirement status, and creating alerts in Zenith
  • Assisting the team with any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Who you are:

  • Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven experience in credit/collection preferably in a shared service environment.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be highly recognised.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor relations and establish good rapport with internal stakeholders.
