The Procurement Specialist handles the purchasing process - from supplier canvassing up to delivery completion. The Procurement Specialist ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and manage relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for submission to management

• Negotiate terms with suppliers

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality and timely delivery

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships

• Resolve grievances with vendors, contractors, and suppliers

Procurement

• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions 

• Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability in partnership with Engineering and Operations

• Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery

• Maintain and/or implement purchasing and recordkeeping systems

Cost Management

• Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities 

• Negotiate favorable prices and terms with suppliers

Others

• Prepare reports for top management pertaining to purchasing activities

• Work with other department leaders to address gaps in the effective acquisition and delivery of goods and services

Qualifications:

• With at least 5 years of experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management preferably in a construction company

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Finance / Commerce / Industrial Engineering / Civil Engineering or any bachelor’s degree with focus on supply chain management and logistics

• Knowledgeable in the use of purchasing softwares

• Solid knowledge in using MS Office especially MS Excel

• Impeccable English communication skills

• Can start as soon as possible

• Open to be assigned in Quezon City with regular travel to Clark, Pampanga (Monday Operations Meetings)
