HR Admin, Bookkeeping & Investor Reporting Associate

POSITION OVERVIEW

We seek a detail-oriented and versatile professional to join our rapidly growing fintech team. This role combines human resources administration, financial bookkeeping, and investor reporting responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and wants exposure to multiple business functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHuman Resources Administration (30%)
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
  • Process payroll and benefits administration for 10+ team members
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
  • Manage onboarding processes for new hires including documentation and orientation
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Assist with performance review processes and employee development tracking
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations
Bookkeeping & Financial Administration (50%)
  • Maintain accurate daily transaction records for loan disbursements and collections
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable entries
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit facility accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reports
  • Track loan portfolio performance metrics and NPL reporting
  • Manage processing fee calculations and revenue recognition
  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing procedures
  • Maintain compliance with BSP and SEC financial reporting requirements
Investor Reporting (20%)
  • Compile monthly investor updates and portfolio performance reports
  • Prepare data for board meetings and investor presentations
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
  • Assist with due diligence requests from potential investors
  • Maintain investor database and communication records
  • Support preparation of quarterly and annual investor reports
  • Coordinate with external auditors during review processes
QUALIFICATIONSRequired:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, HR administration, or financial services
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of Philippine accounting principles and labor laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred:
  • CPA certification or pursuing CPA qualification
  • Experience in fintech, microfinance, or lending industry
  • Familiarity with investor reporting and startup operations
  • Knowledge of Singapore corporate compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and investment terminology
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Software: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, accounting software
  • Financial: Financial statement preparation, ratio analysis, cash flow management
  • HR Systems: HRIS platforms, payroll systems, recruitment platforms
  • Reporting: Data visualization, dashboard creation, presentation skills
  • Compliance: BSP regulations, SEC requirements, Philippine labor law
