What is the HR Operations Associate (Mactan) role here in 1Aviation?

The HR Operations Associate is responsible in ensuring smooth functioning of various HR processes in Outstations. Responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. They ensure that employee records are properly maintained, coordinates training sessions, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

What Will You Do

  • Ensure that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with quality, safety, security and customer service standards based on regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Supports the HR Manager in addressing people-related concerns and provides the actions needed.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Maintains an effective and efficient filling system and an organized workspace at all times.
  • Assists in the drafting and/ or issuance of Notice to Explain (NTE) and Notice of Decision (NOD), if necessary
  • Performs related functions as assigned by the Manager, HR Operations.

Talent Management

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive and efficient interview experience for all parties involved.
  • Guide candidates through the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Total Rewards

  • Effectively monitors and updates the status of benefit claims, as well as follows up processors and updates concerned employees religiously.
  • Provides efficient HR support services to the employees.
  • Receives request, monitors, and releases uniforms and PPEs.

An Ideal Candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field (master's degree an advantage).
  • 1 year of experience in HR facets (such as Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices and trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in compensation analysis and modeling
  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, analytical and with interpersonal skill
