What You’ll Do:

The Credit and Collections Manager will lead a team of collectors, collaborate with company leaders, and establish positive professional relationships with customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations and efficiency of the Collections Team.
  • Ensure effective collection processes within daily operations to support timely cash collection.
  • Monitor and collect from all customer accounts.
  • Address customer issues and billing problems, escalating as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior management to recover outstanding balances.
  • Analyze AR metrics and prepare reports.
  • Host collections meetings with internal and external parties.
  • Interview, hire, train, and schedule team members.
  • Develop and implement procedures to reduce delinquency.
  • Set and coordinate team goals aligned with overall business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Management experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data validation, and creating complex charts/graphs).
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing complex data and generating actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities, with effective conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership that inspires, motivates, and guides a team with a "leader, not boss" mentality.
  • Capable of working under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and collaborative.
