Consulting Accounting Manager (Philippines – U.S. Clients)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Consulting Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, provide strategic financial insights, and ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards for our clients. Based in the Philippines, this role will work remotely, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals and servicing businesses in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, tax compliance, and business consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Advisory:

• Oversee accounting functions for U.S.-based clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Provide financial consulting services, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance business performance.

Accounting & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IRS regulations, and other federal and state financial laws.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Manage tax preparation, filings, and liaise with tax advisors.

Client Engagement & Consulting:

• Act as the primary point of contact for U.S. clients, addressing financial concerns and providing advisory support.
• Conduct financial reviews and deliver reports with actionable recommendations.
• Assist clients in optimizing their accounting processes and internal controls.

Leadership & Team Collaboration:

• Lead a team of accounting professionals and offshore accountants handling U.S. accounts.
• Train and mentor junior accountants to enhance their expertise in U.S. accounting principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including auditors, tax consultants, and financial analysts.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent U.S. accounting certification is highly preferred.

Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years managing U.S. clients or working in a U.S. accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, federal and state tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in financial consulting, business advisory, and tax planning.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or other U.S.-based accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and client management abilities.
