About the role

New City Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of our growing construction company.

What you'll be doing

• Perform daily accounting tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and accounts payable and receivable processing
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Provide administrative support to the Accounting team as needed
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any accounting-related issues or discrepancies
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations in the construction industry
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
