About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Operations & Management Associate who can sit in the middle of numbers, processes, and people.
This role is a mix of:
- Operations execution (data, reports, accuracy), and
- Management support (coordination, follow-up, making sure things actually get done).
- You’ll act as a bridge between management and day-to-day operations — making sure plans don’t hanya berhenti di slide, tapi beneran kejadian di lapangan.
- Most people will find this role too structured, too demanding, or too detailed.
- We’re looking for the outliers who enjoy ownership, clarity, and measurable results.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will be the operational backbone that helps management run the business with clean data and disciplined execution.
Operational & Data Responsibilities:
- Manage financial and performance calculations for internal programs (bonus, rewards, rebates, and other schemes).
- Monitor and ensure data accuracy across systems (CRM, trading platforms, trackers, and internal reports).
- Conduct regular checks and mini-audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain structured trackers, logs, and documentation that management can rely on anytime.
Management & Coordination Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Product, Finance, Back Office, Operations) to align data, processes, and timelines.
- Help management track commitments, deadlines, and follow-ups across ongoing initiatives.
- Prepare concise reports and summaries for management, turning raw data into clear insights and next steps.
- Identify recurring operational issues and propose practical improvements (better SOPs, checklists, workflows, or templates).
- What Success Looks Like (First 3 Months)
By month 3, we’ll consider you successful if:
- All recurring reports and calculations under your scope are on time, accurate, and complete.
- Operational discrepancies are spotted early, investigated, and closed within an agreed SLA.
- Management can see and track ongoing operations more clearly because of your structure (trackers, follow-ups, summaries).
- You’ve driven at least 1–2 small but real improvements in how we work (e.g., new process, better template, clearer flow).
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (minimum GPA 3.2).
- 1–3 years experience in business operations, finance, project coordination, or management support roles.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivot tables, conditional formulas, basic modeling).
- High attention to detail — you don’t tolerate messy numbers or unclear processes.
- Proven ability to take ownership: you don’t just wait for instructions, you move things forward.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.
- Willing to work on a shift-based schedule, including certain holidays when operations require it.
- Based in Indonesia and willing to relocate if needed.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for business and professional communication.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in brokerage, fintech, trading, or financial services.
- Experience handling commissions, rebates, incentives, or performance-based rewards.
- Experience coordinating between multiple departments and consolidating information for management.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, reporting tools, or basic BI tools is a plus.
