Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems. The role involves creating robust APIs, supporting frontend updates when needed, and ensuring smooth system deployment and automation testing.

Backend Development

• Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs.
• Build integrations using Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and Python.
• Write reusable, scalable, and well-documented code.

Frontend Support (Minor)

• Contribute to ReactJS frontend development when required.
• Update UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.

Automation & Testing

• Test APIs, endpoints, and user flows using Postman, Newman, and Selenium.
• Write automated test scripts to ensure system reliability.

System Deployment

• Deploy applications on Vercel, Heroku, or equivalent platforms.
• Manage version control using Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

General & Operational Tasks

• Investigate platform issues and resolve bugs.
• Optimize system performance.
• Support team in implementing new workflows and features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, QA, and product.

Expected Deliverables:

• Stable and efficient backend features delivered on time.
• Clean, reusable code aligned with platform standards.
• Proper documentation for every feature/API.
• Successful deployments with minimal bugs.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and Python.
• Familiarity with ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Postman, Newman, Selenium).
• Knowledge of deployment platforms such as Vercel, Heroku, or similar.
• Proficient with version control tools like Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to document technical specifications clearly and concisely.
