Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into services through reliable code and meaningful tests. - Proactively initiate performance tuning and troubleshoot incidents. - Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation. - Develop high-quality code by following best practices and advocating engineering excellence. - Collaborate with other engineering teams and mentor junior team members. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. - At least 3 years of professional experience building high-throughput distributed applications. - Proficient in core Java and the Spring framework. - Expertise in MySQL and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database. - Strong knowledge of distributed system design, including at least one messaging middleware and underlying design principles. - Rapid learner with the ability to perform under pressure. - Ability to collaborate with remote teams across different time zones. Preferred: - Experience with performance tuning on the JVM, SQL, RPC, etc. - Prior experience with KYC or compliance is a plus.
