Job Summary

The Deal Desk Representative provides sales support and deal governance by assisting Sales, Business Development, and Pre-Sales teams in structuring, reviewing, and processing commercial deals. The role ensures pricing accuracy, compliance with company policies, and efficient deal turnaround while maintaining high data integrity within CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end deal support for Sales and Business Development teams, including pricing validation, deal documentation, and approvals.
  • Review deal requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with commercial and approval policies.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure timely deal processing.
  • Prepare and validate quotes, proposals, and deal summaries as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date deal records in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar systems.
  • Monitor deal status, turnaround times, and approval workflows to support sales efficiency.
  • Assist in resolving deal-related issues, discrepancies, or exceptions.
  • Support reporting and tracking of deal metrics, pipeline status, and operational performance.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, documentation standards, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, deal desk, pre-sales operations, or similar roles.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or equivalent tools.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes, pricing structures, and deal approval workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deal requests simultaneously.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting B2B sales environments.

Familiarity with contract review, pricing guidelines, or revenue operations processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar reporting tools.

  • Experience working with global or regional sales teams is an advantage.
