KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Design and implement new database systems and architectures, with a focus on MS SQL. 
• Develop and maintain database standards and best practices
• Optimize database performance and resolve performance-related issues
• Monitor and maintain database security and integrity
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures
• Perform database backup and recovery operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduated from a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related fiel
• 3+ years of experience in database design, development, and administration
• Experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle
• Experience with Azure cloud database services
• Experience with NoSQL a plus
• Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
