The Wedding Cut is looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our remote post-production team.

We specialize in wedding films, cinematic highlights, full wedding films, teasers, reels, and other professional video content for photographers, videographers, studios, and clients.

We are looking for someone who has a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, music, emotion, and visual quality.

Responsibilities:

• Edit wedding highlights, cinematic wedding films, teasers, reels, and other video projects.

• Organize and manage large amounts of raw footage efficiently.

• Create engaging edits with strong storytelling, pacing, and emotional impact.

• Sync footage with music and create smooth, natural transitions.

• Perform color correction and basic color grading.

• Clean and improve dialogue and audio when required.

• Follow project briefs, client instructions, and company editing guidelines.

• Maintain consistency with the client’s preferred editing style.

• Complete projects within the assigned deadlines.

• Make revisions based on client or QC feedback.

• Maintain proper project organization and file management.

• Communicate clearly with the project manager and editing team.

• Maintain a high standard of quality across every delivered project.

Job Requirements:

• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience is preferred.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating wedding, cinematic, storytelling, or similar editing work.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

• Knowledge of After Effects is an advantage.

• Good understanding of cinematic storytelling, pacing, music selection, and visual composition.

• Basic knowledge of color correction/color grading and audio editing.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to understand and follow creative direction.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Good time-management and deadline-management skills.

• Willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve.

• Reliable computer system and stable internet connection.

• Good communication skills and professional work ethic.

Preferred:

• Experience editing wedding films or wedding-related content.

• Experience working with international clients.

• Experience handling high-volume editing projects.

• Familiarity with Google Drive, Frame.io, Dropbox, or similar project/file-management platforms.
