EMD TECHNOLOGIES PHILIPPINES INC. (EMTEPH), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of EM DEVICES CORPORATION. Also, formerly known as NEC TOKIN Electronics, Inc. (Year 2002) and NEC Components Philippines (Year 1996). In April 14, 2017, the Electromechanical Devices Division of NEC TOKIN CORPORATION was carved out and started to operate under its new business name EM DEVICES CORPORATION. Consequently, EMTEPH started to operate under the new business name on June 01, 2017. EMTEPH continuously creates leading technologies in world-class products to support the car electronics industry since 1997. In fact, it was the first to offer a dual (twin) relay for reversing motor drive. The first E-series twin relay which was released worldwide is the No. 1 Market Leader. For more than 20 years, EMTEPH has been supplying Automotive Power Relays as switching devices for Power Windows, Memory Seats, Sunroof Control, Shift Transfer, Wiper Control, Defogger Auto Antenna, Head Lamp etc. These miniature relays fulfill leading demands for compact relays with low power consumption. EMTEPH takes pride being the world’s leading supplier of these products to automotive leaders.
